RACK HILL
Rack Hill is so named as sheep skins were racked out on the slopes to dry

Forlan Youngsters grazing a conservation area, this is a lovely walk from the hamlet of Long Dean to the famous village of Castle Combe. 
 A lovely Manor House Hotel in the village, if you wish to indulge yourself

Rack Hill, beautiful foliage in the Autumn    On the right an interesting  walk from Castle Combe to Nettleton over a Roman Bridge  


On the left, Little Gibbons, close to the Roman bridge, on the right a chance encounter
